Ahhh, I was listening to my old Loki playlist recently and there's this song, 'Winter' by Deb Lyons (and Yuki Kajiura) which makes me go asdfghjkl Because it's winter here XD So I wanted to draw winter Loki wandering through snowy (or icy) land. He's all alone there and uh... OOC, OOS, but who cares. He has long(er) hair because it's meant to be some time after the Avengers (when I painted this I didn't have an idea that it's revealed that he'll have long hair in Thor 2)
There's no manip here, everything is drawn by myself, including face which was referenced from Tom's photo (from Henry IV or V I think).
Ah, such gorgeous work The realism is incredible, Loki's face is just brilliant, the linekess is just faint-worthy I love the title and the outfit, and the look in his eyes makes it seem like he's looking faraway into some endless expanses of empty, icy land There is a sense of wistfulness and space, it's beautiful. The fur collar is just amazingly done, the hairs are fluffy and yet sharply outlined, gorgeous! Ah, everything about this portrait is just simply amazing, I love all of it!
thank you so much <3 and Im sorry my reply is so short compared to your long and lovely comment, but I really don't know what else to say. Thank you once again :*
